Little Joe II Apollo capsule and escape tower 033060 — Revision B — ESTIMATED
Source identity: CURRENT_033060

This free pack preserves the original STL and STEP geometry from the expanded
Estes Nose Cone Library B. All geometry is in millimeters.

Base diameter: 86.87 mm
Exposed height including features: 262.50 mm (excludes shoulder)
Shoulder: 84.50 mm diameter x 25.40 mm long
Overall X x Y x Z: 86.87 x 86.87 x 287.90 mm
Evidence confidence: low. This is not a numerical tolerance.

These models use educated estimates, including inferred dimensions and shapes.
They are solid exterior references for CAD editing, not verified replicas or
finished hollow flight parts. No printer clearance, original hollow interiors,
electronics or recovery hardware are included. Solid CAD does not prescribe
100% slicer infill. Digital geometry checks do not validate physical fit, mass,
strength or flight suitability. Check actual tubes and print fit yourself.

Why this shape was chosen:
Estes 2016 catalog gives kit 7227 diameter 3.42 in (86.868 mm). The primary Estes instruction sheet page 7 straight side view scales the capsule-to-tip distance to about 263 mm and page 6 explicitly shows a four-legged open truss, bracing, flared motor base and separate motor tube. These features are reconstructed as connected solid rods and cones, with the empty tower center retained. Capsule stations, nominal 84.5 mm shoulder, 25.4 mm shoulder length, rod thicknesses and all detail coordinates are estimates. This model includes only the nose capsule/tower assembly, not the body wraps, fins, or other sprue components.
