PNC-50S Sandpiper / Aries SST finlet nose — Revision B — ESTIMATED
Source identity: HIST_PN_072045_PNC50S

This free pack preserves the original STL and STEP geometry from the expanded
Estes Nose Cone Library B. All geometry is in millimeters.

Base diameter: 24.79 mm
Exposed height including features: 111.13 mm (excludes shoulder)
Shoulder: 24.13 mm diameter x 11.16 mm long
Overall X x Y x Z: 37.00 x 24.79 x 122.28 mm
Evidence confidence: low. This is not a numerical tolerance.

These models use educated estimates, including inferred dimensions and shapes.
They are solid exterior references for CAD editing, not verified replicas or
finished hollow flight parts. No printer clearance, original hollow interiors,
electronics or recovery hardware are included. Solid CAD does not prescribe
100% slicer infill. Digital geometry checks do not validate physical fit, mass,
strength or flight suitability. Check actual tubes and print fit yourself.

Why this shape was chosen:
Original Estes Sandpiper instructions p1 identify PNC-50S 72045 and show a long continuous pointed nose with two opposed finlets. Use an estimated 111.125 mm ogive envelope and two swept finlets. Finlet position, contour, thickness, shoulder and original mold curvature are estimated. This corrects the earlier unsupported neck/collar guess. Historical identity is supported by Brohm; dimensions and morphology beyond the cited facts are educated design estimates.

Estimated fields:
- profile.stations_mm
- shoulder_diameter_mm
- shoulder_length_mm
