Fit & installation

Measure once.
Display with confidence.

Use these checks to plan your mount. If any dimension or wall clearance is uncertain, send a photo and measurements before ordering.

Measuring reference only; drawing is not to scale.

Start with the rocket

Three measurements. One clearance check.

  1. Motor tube or outside body diameter. Vertical pegs use the motor tube; cradle pairs follow the outside body diameter at the support positions.
  2. Overall length. Include the nose and any projecting parts when planning wall space.
  3. Ready-to-display weight. Include the components that will remain on the rocket.
  4. Fin and tail clearance. Check the retainer, fins and body in the intended orientation. A reversible peg changes the available clearance.

Plan the wall installation

  1. Choose a location with clearance around the entire rocket.
  2. Match the fasteners and anchors to the actual wall construction and loaded weight, following their manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. For a cradle pair, check support positions against the rocket’s shape before marking holes.
  4. Secure the mount, check all connections and support the rocket by hand while checking the initial fit.
  5. Check for movement, wall contact or deformation before leaving the rocket displayed. Recheck after moving or changing the rocket.

Confirm the details of your mount

Vertical wall mounts include mounting hardware. Check that the supplied hardware suits your wall construction and display weight. Bracket dimensions and suitable loads depend on the selected product and installation. Contact us to confirm these details for your rocket; do not infer capacity from a motor size or photograph.

Choose truss or curved-arm style on the vertical mount product page. For help with peg orientation or an unusual retainer, send a clear rear/side photo along with your measurements.
