Cutting and marking

  1. Match the tube. Choose the size that matches your tube's outside diameter. Slide it into position and tighten the matching compression nut to hold it.
  2. Use the front collar as your reference. Work with your own manual cutting tool suitable for the tube material.
  3. Mark the fin positions. Use the shared 0 reference, then the two 3 marks for a three-fin layout or the three 4 marks for a four-fin layout.

The three-fin pattern is spaced at 120°; the four-fin pattern is spaced at 90°. All marking positions are on the front collar. The compression nut rotates independently and has no fin-position scale.

Before you order

Match each selected tube name and measured outside diameter to the available-size list. Nominal motor and inch names are different from tube outside diameters. Fiberglass names identify dimensional fit; use a cutting tool appropriate for the tube material.

For a different tube manufacturer or an uncertain fit, send us the measured outside diameter before ordering.
